Project Background & Inspiration
Could you briefly introduce yourself and explain the origin of your name (Xinaqua)?
Hello, my name is Xinaqua. This name comes from combining “Xin” (心) which means “heart” in Chinese, with “Aqua” which represents water and the ocean. It’s my pen name, and it reflects who I am very well. I’ve always loved the sea, and I also enjoy the idea of flow whether it’s the flow of water or the flow of creativity in making new things.
You’ve created multiple personality quizzes, all with highly original themes that have received positive responses from the community. How did you develop the inspiration for these quiz topics?
My inspiration comes from my own genuine emotions. I often dig deep into my own heart and observe the people around me. I keep asking myself “Do others have hidden feelings similar to mine?” That curiosity is what drives me to create these quizzes. Each theme such as dolls, clocks, mirrors, or theatres represents the negative emotions that everyone secretly carries within themselves. By presenting them in these symbolic forms, I hope players can better understand their own inner feelings.
Who are the main target audiences for these projects, and what feelings or takeaways do you hope they will have after playing the quizzes?
The main audience for my projects is people who may not fully realize what they’re feeling deep inside whether it’s loneliness, attachment to the past, loss, or a lack of authenticity in being themselves. After playing my quizzes, I hope they will come to recognize and connect with those hidden emotions more clearly.
Project Production Process
Why did you choose the “personality quiz module” to create these projects?
The personality quiz module is exactly what I needed, and it’s simple to use for creating the type of projects I work on. The layout can be a little tricky, but it’s still my favorite module because it resonates well with players.
When brainstorming, do you start with the theme first or with the concept of the result characters?
I usually begin with emotions I’ve recorded in my notes, then build a theme that matches those emotions. After that, I design the personalities of the characters in each project and write the storyline so that players feel like they’re personally stepping into the narrative. Instead of answering purely academic or logical questions, they get to immerse themselves in a world where emotions lead the way. The results are then mapped according to emotional traits such as “hiding true feelings” or “avoiding fears.”
During the production process, did you use AI (for images, text, classification settings, etc.) to assist you?
No, I prefer doing everything myself. It makes me feel like I’ve poured my heart into the work, which helps me connect with players on a deeper emotional level.
Which feature of OOOPEN Lab do you find the most convenient or enjoyable to use?
I don’t have a specific favorite, but I enjoy the image upload feature. And I think the background music feature would be really fun, since so many players have told me, “It would be amazing if there was music!”

Did these quizzes achieve the results you originally expected? How did you evaluate them — through which data or observations?
They went far beyond my expectations! The total plays reached over 385,000 times I only hoped for maybe 10,000 at most. I evaluate the results through both data and observation.

Yes, many! Too many to count, actually.
Did the distribution of quiz results align closely with your original expectations?
Yes, very much so
Promotion Methods & Exposure Channels
Through which platforms or channels did you promote these quizzes? (e.g., IG Stories, posts, Threads, offline events, brand collaborations, etc.)
Mostly through Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
Which methods were most effective in increasing reach or engagement?
Telling the lore of each project explaining the storyline after each release was very effective. Editing short videos also helped a lot with reach and engagement.
Did you observe any cross-community spread to audiences outside your usual circle?
Yes. For example, my “ตุ๊กตาสื่อตัวตน” project went viral on big news pages and popular Facebook pages. Even psychology-focused influencers picked it up, which really surprised me.
Future Plans
Would you like to try other modules in the future? (e.g., game module, story module)
Definitely! I’d love to try game modules or story modules especially if they could include branching storylines. Many of my players ask for features like: “What if the story went in another direction?” I think it could really enhance the experience.
Do you have any upcoming new themes or series in mind?
Yes. I’m currently finishing the final part of my 5-part series (which explores negative emotions). After that, I’d like to create a new series focusing on positive emotions instead.
What production tips would you recommend to other creators using OOOPEN Lab?
Use lots of visuals! Players generally prefer images over long text. Too much text can make them tired and cause them to quit halfway.
